In Kenya, prostitution is a job that will never end anytime soon, and as a matter of fact, this is among the businesses thriving day and night. A few days ago, through the Ministry of Health, the government announced a shortage in the supply of condoms, so they cannot provide the usual number. This news was made public by Citizen TV, among other media houses.
Kenyans were asked to use other alternative methods as we prepare to see how we can sort out this shortage issue. Fear of having early pregnancies was the biggest problem among youths.
Apparently, hours ago 'The Guardian media house reported that 'prostitutes' in Kenya have decided to go for preventive HIV/AIDS drugs to protect themselves. They claimed they would not use condoms because they wanted the few remaining ones to be supplied for youths to use them.
According to them, they have been used to this business and dealing with the issue of unprotected sessions, so it's not new to them. Another reason they love unprotected sessions is because clients give better pay than the protected ones. They prefer risking their lives to have the money for their own domestic use. The fact that these drugs are also free of charge makes many willingly go for unprotected sessions with any client.
Thanks
